Car Crash
One second you are fine.
The next you are in the middle of a field,
Windows shattered, doors jammed in,
And no idea what to do next.
So you think about what just happened.
And it all becomes clear and it’s just like slow motion.
Everything begins to play back for you.
Every little boom, crack, and shatter.
You remember the car flipping end to end.
You can see the windshield shattering before your very eyes.
You can feel the seatbelt getting tighter as the car flips.
You feel your hands tighten your grip on the steering wheel.
You remember crying out for your mom,
You cry and cry, yet no one is around to hear.
You are trapped inside the remains of a totaled car.
And you have no idea how you even got in this situation.
You realize your life will never be the same.
You will never get over something traumatic like this.
You will be reminded of this every time you get in a car.
Your entire life has been changed over a car crash.
