“Have a backup plan,” was constantly told to me,
As if no one made their dreams what they wanted them to be.
Fully aware that I’ll be on my own,
Showing everyone that the backup plan was never needed, I’ll sit on my own throne.
I don’t mind being underestimated; I’ll only be able to prove everyone wrong,
Surprised faces, back being patted, now constantly hearing “you did it!”
When in reality, I knew all along.
