Just like old times
He was a tall boy, says his high waters
All he wanted was to be on the water
No one liked him, says his facebook
He didn’t like facebook anyway
His parents were religious
Says the Bible with a broken back
He disagreed with them, says the Slayer poster
Hung simply in spite of his parents
It was lonely here
No one lived by him
No one to miss him
He hated it there, says his grades
Kept high to ensure a way out of his town
He was holding out for something better
Said his will to get out of bed every day
Unbroken but far from strong
Things were getting better
Said the weekends spent with new friends
He wouldn’t be so lonely soon
Say the boxes of packed clothes
Clothes that fit him
He wanted to go to school
Said his finished homework.
He was happy
