Connecticut Winter
It is so cold.
Karma, or coincidence,
Clawing at, corroding any warmth
We once kept in our furnace
Because a crazy man
Came and chopped our creations down
Until they couldn't be reignited
And so we shiver in the chilly air
Where our comfort once kept us sane
And now only our choked love connects my body heat and your tears.
