I’ve learned to be patient,
I can wait.
I’ve learned to be understanding,
Our life together revolves around the happiness of two.
I’ve learned to cherish the moments,
One never knows which goodbye will be the last.
I’ve learned to finally say what’s on my mind,
It’s the only way he will know I love him.
I’ve learned to accept myself the way I am,
He shows me I am perfect within my imperfections.
I’ve learned to trust,
It’s okay to put your heart on the line.
I’ve learned how to love,
The four letter word that changes one forever.
