Lunatic
Finally my senses have come to stay,
And I scream at the world for keeping them away.
But the moon at night creeps slowly by,
A thread to my mind in the deep dark sky.
A bitter laugh bursts from my frozen lips,
As my weak hold gradually slips.
Thoughts of logic whimsically float on by,
Lost again to the moon in the sky.
I am staring through an open door,
But it’s been slammed in my face and won’t open no more.
The walls are soft and the rooms is white,
Don’t they know it makes me feel uptight?
A man outside stares in at me.
Why won’t these white coats just leave me be!?
I look back at him through the window pane,
And I see in his eyes a person gone insane.
