In life we gamble on a journey, into the light of dawn
Past the black of night without a star to wish upon
Through an interval of worry and a stage of taking chances
We are blinded by defeat, while triumph only glances
Moving forward with our backs turned, we can’t see behind our head
But moving backward in reverse shows us what we want ahead
Within a storm of doubt and fear, each drop will hit the floor
Until the sun that dries the mess, comes knocking on your door
Never let a simple fear keep your body from believing
Because nothing is impossible when your heart starts dreaming

You did a great job keeping the poem moving, and the rhyming rhythm really made this nice. The actual meaning of the poem is beautiful. Keep up the great work =)
