Time Traveler MAG
The day has come when you feel
earthbound no more. You pluck up
flimsy wings
to defy gravity.
Ready as ever,
your wings take flight.
With utmost eloquence, you roam the heavens;
soar on heavy gales;
permeate through tufts of clouds;
the disquietude scatter and you watch
silver linings unhinge from their seams
as a salute to dreams and liberation.
You touch the sky,
the incredible silk melds coolly into the
surface of your skin.
You taste the clouds,
sweet honey bunches.
Before you land,
that wanderlust heart
living within you, willed to do one last thing
and I watch as you hurtle above the ozone layer,
skin parches upon meeting the sun.
Time and space swirl and tumble around you – you're home.
