Living has been something hard in the past
Something I couldn't quite handle

Pain was rampant and oh so overwhelming
Not quite enough to end it all but close to putting me over the edge

Time has passed, my veil's been lifted
Finally in the light.

It feels so good, to finally be free
For once, actually LiViNg

Not having to hide anymore and not having to succumb to my depression anymore was the inspiration of this poem.
