Music
So soft it flows past unsuspecting ears,
So calming that is stops the children's cries.
And takes away the darkness of your fears,
And helps you see past all the tricks and lies.
Although its maker might be dead and gone,
It stays preserved on paper or in minds.
Through instruments and voices it lives on,
And spreads to different people of all kinds.
Uniquely speaks to those who choose to care,
It weaves a lovely tapestry of sound,
As music covers silence in the air.
Its melody spreads happiness around.
Although some may refute this fact and doubt,
The music's something we can't live without.
