The Light
The light was seen just a week ago
A shape of a crescent moon sat on her face
With nothing but grace
The light often let the moon take her shine
Because as She shined like a diamond on all of us
She felt the pain of the world beneath us
As the light barely twinkled, her heart longed to glow
So She went soul searching to and fro
When she was getting back on her feet, her heart skipped a beat
The light rose back into the sky
And know I look into the sky and think
Why you? Will it be me?
I know it wasn't time for you to go
But the light rose back into the sky
And it's so hard to say goodbye
