He Doesn't Know

He doesn’t know that
He’s the reason I can’t sleep,
And he doesn’t know
What he said in my dreams.
He doesn’t know that
I make up stories in my head,
And he doesn’t know,
That he’s in every one of them.
He doesn’t know that
I imagine the feel of his lips,
And he doesn’t know
That I want him to be my first kiss.
He doesn’t know that
I see him as more than a friend
And he doesn’t know
That this poem is about him.
