Aureate
two heartbeats count each running step
i’ll chase after what i can
and i’ll gladly take whatever i can get
the thieves leave little gold or wine
but i’ll take it ‘cause i take what’s mine
least is lots when there’s nothing more to find
and with these shallow pockets i will climb
with nothing to weigh me down, there’s nothing that’s too high
i will stand upon the Summit, look out to the Sky
and fill my eyes with the Treasure that no glittering gold can buy
