Shout to the Sky
There once was a girl
With ribbons tied in her hair
She ran in the morning
And shouted into the air
She belts out her secrets
The sky her only friend
Her life is like a tattered garment
with tares to mend
She is completely alone
In a world of lies
She wears a mask that is broken
They watch her with threatening eyes
She shouts to the clouds
And hopes they can hear
She tells them her story
She abandons a tear
There was a girl
Who needed to speak
The sky did not mind
That she was weak
