Like a Pebble in the Ocean

You left me standing there
Red boots and skin white as lace
While tears stream down my face
Drops of ocean and storm and rain
I try so hard but I cannot refrain
I am now hollow and cold
As if my body were sold
Your winter eyes fade
Through crystal waters I wade
Only me in a sea of thoughts
A lone car in an abandoned lot
Remember days spent with you
I only hope,
You think of me too.
