Love of the Dark

Locked in the confines of my mind
Shackles on my feet locked so tight
That my soul can't shine bright
Darkness hovers over me
Waiting to grab a hold and
Never let go until I give in
Until I graciously let it take control of me
I now have lost the battle
And I can't be saved now
Because the darkness suffocates me
And destroys my heart into two pieces
Pieces that used to be love
But now the only love that emits from my heart
Is the love for the darkness and pain
And yes I know it sounds so strange
But this is me now and i can't change
