the colors were oh so vivid
the scents were all so new
with heavy sighs and heady laughs
we longed on rugs that flew
the waters were frozen to touch
the drink was true and pure
like rivers by the gallons
raised goblets,to life,we swore
amongst the violet skies
the shrouded sun and moon
like eagles in the sea foam
we vowed to go back soon
the flowers sway in the breeze
the gales and 'gales as one
sing a lullaby so sweet
thaw the frozen tears
our faces cracked with smiles
the voices rasped with laughter
eyes crinkled and were blinded
the feet of ravens brother
yet we sat,amongst the gloom
the glade became the field
the trees became armed men
our joy,with death,was healed

this piece just came to me. call it poetry, fiction, romance or senseless rubbish. it just suddenly assaulted my mind, until i wrote down the words, torrent upon torrent.i wrote this in five minutes, gave another five in the typing. what matters is that, it means something to me.
