Just Catch Me
Do you hear my heart?
It crashes just,as the tides
It burns, just as the flames
It screams just as the wounded;
For you.
How can you not hear?
Do you ignore my calls in fear of answering?
Do you run in fear that you will be caught?
I stretch my body in all directions,
To walk the trails your presence carves
Yet, you force my heart to scour for shelter,
In the rains you bring upon it.
When your arms are empty,
With no weight to bear, and nothing depending on you,
Why do you let me fall again and again?
You could have caught me!
You could have done so little,
Gave so little..
And yet, saved me over and over.
For once.. just catch me.
