Poem To A Lady
March 31, 2013
‘Darling,’ he whispered, ‘you are my love;
My heart flutters like a dove
Every time your lips touch mine.
It feels like warm sunshine
Has alighted on my face
As you return my sweet embrace.
When I bring you flowers,
And you greet them with a smile
Even though I’ve gathered weeds by mistake,
That’s when I know
I love you.’
