I’m choking on my own mistakes
Clawing my throat raw
Medication
Drowning
Consuming me
“It may cause drowsiness”
Implying eternal sleep
Even though I cannot help it, they mock my voice
Is my forehead hot or my hands cold?
Immovable, unchangeable
Unsave-able
Test precedes test
It’ll pass, they says
Silent cries go unheard
If anyone’s listening
it’s getting harder
to breathe
