Numb Again
Isolated in a mental bubble of hate and the whole spectrum of emotions
The outside world wants to find its grasp
But I cannot let it reach for me
The ignorance is too much to bear
And the realization of my pre-mature mind would be too overwhelming
But it is as if I have to let it
I have to expose the wound
Because it is when you are most vulnerable that you are living
And the agenda of your true emotions and subconscious is revealed
And then you start to cry
And the tears like testimonies come rolling down your cheeks
I must dwell in the temple of phony for now
Seeking the few lights, wherever i may find them
And they must reach for my grasping hand
Because as I keep on tumbling into the abyss
It tumbles into me
