Sleeping is freedom
A peace like no other
A break from the world
And all its problems.
Sleeping is floating
Weightless on a cloud
Far, far above the Earth
Dreaming in a different universe.
Sweet dreams are heaven
Perfect, flawless
Not a care in the world
Wanting to last forever.
Nightmares are monsters
Evil, tormenting
An overpowering fear
Wanting to get out, out.
Your mind is a storybook
Coming up with crazy stories
That you may wish or dread
To have happen in real life.
