My Generation
I am from a generation a little different from yours,
But then again is it so different from yours?
Im from where everyone gets judge and judges but never wants to be judge,
Im from a generation that having the next generation too early,
Im from a generation where everyone looks down on us and think they know us,
Im from a generation where we dream big but only ¼ of us make it,
Im from a generation that we all have something in common and that pain,
Im from a generation that has to make hard decisions early,
And that go though some type of struggle,
Im from a generation that dying off long before our time,
And fighting for no reason,
Im from a generation where it a job just to fit in,
And im from a generation that constantly misunderstood.
Think you know my generation?
Well little do you know.
Yes we make mistakes, and yes were doing things you don’t want us to,
But here the thing you don’t know,
Were all great actors too.
We’ll have you thinking you know us
But little do you know the struggle we go through,
Like the tears we cry, the nights we just want to give up,
And the war or journey we all go through,
But were all searching for the samething,
Love and happiness.
Whether our journey has us to decide good or bad things,
It’s the path we decided to walk in.
Some of us get lost,
While others continue,
So don’t be so quick to judge us,
We do what we know,
Just like you,
You say we have it easy,
NO, we really don’t,
So again I say this is my generation.
