My heart has been aching for so long.
It felt like an eternity.
He broke my heart and now numb, in total shock.
He left me there standing in the cold rain.
He never came back.
But, my naive heart kept me hopeing and waiting.
I was waiting for a lie that would never appear.
My heart was played like a instrument of torture.
My mind said it wouldn't last a day, but my heart gave in anyway.
Because of this my heart has converted to ice.
Numbed by the coldness.
Never to be melted again.
