I love you even though
You did not give birth to me
You’re the one I cried in front of
For years I was scared you would leave
But I should have know
That you are not the same
I was blind sighted
I gave a person another chance
But I never gave you one
I was in the dark
You held my hand
And walked me through even though
We hit a few things on our way to the light
I see now you were true
Nothing was new
I love you truly
With all my heart
I have to go but
I must know
CAN YOU FORGIVE ME???????
