I don’t like this man,
But nobody deserves to live with this burden.
No brother and hated by the nation,
Sedated, unable to have that important conversation.

He was manipulated,
His brother threw him in,
That is where it gets complicated,
His world begins to spin.

Yes he deserves death,
But I am still human.
Only a little older than I am,
And here he is, the sacrificial lamb.

His family hates him,
They can’t believe he would do such a thing.
Justice will be served, he is aware of what he has done,
Trapped in a hospital bed, nowhere to run.

The author's comments:
With people giving their opinions about what should be done with the Boston Marathon surviving bombing brother I thought I needed to express myself. He is evil and he must live with what he has done, but I am human and somehow I have sympathy for him. He is only nineteen and his life is basically over.
