Lie To Me
Eyes
Oh where did your life go?
I am a coward
In this room I touch your gentle hands delicately
The dim lights blur my tears from view
Dusty skies
The pounding of my heart cripples me to the point where I can no longer stand
Your bloated face, engulfed in impending demise
You are a stranger, yet I have known you for thirteen years
My throat is fiery with my silence
My eyelids sink, struggling to conceal what is before me
Bitter, frustrated, lonely
I must leave
I must stay
Let me be blind
Let me be so far away that this is a distant memory
Fading like I am now
Dying along with you
