Wishful Thinking
it is
strange
whenever the
veil
drops-
that which
presents a
substitute
to act as
your
voice
and orders
around
the oh
so delicate
contracting
of the
muscles
that make up
your
face.
as if you are
overcome by
the existence of
another
person;
passing off
as your
own.
her voice i listen
to
and her eyes
i search.
her body
fumbles
away from
me
like
the sweet
banishing any
remnants
of sour.
i don't know her
name
but her intentions
peer
passively
at the
mention
of
my love.
i asked her for a
kiss and she looked
at me,
blankly.
yet, you-
you bent down,
said "ok".
Now guess who it was that pulled away!?
so when i am alone
and she evades me
with space
i ask her for
a kiss
and everyone but
you is
first to resist!
