Drunk driving

As two guys walk into a bar

I noticed them from afar

Making their way to an open seat

They almost trip over their feet

Having a blast laughing and joking

While the group in the corner is smoking

With booze and drinks on the house

The guys begin to get doused

With the smell of alcohol on people’s breath

The last thing to think of is death

Seeing as its getting late

The two leave with a fate

To become another number on a DUI statistics page

Or to be locked up in a cage

Because when they started the engine

They had no intention

That these things could come

Or that they were being just that dumb
