Ocean Waves
The ocean waves touch my feet
As I walk along the lonely beach
Hands in my pocket, my head held high
Tears streaming down my face
I didn’t want to cry
These memories just won’t fade
How do I get you out of my mind?
I am trying to forget you,
Forget the time we spent
I fall down on my knees
I just wish you had been content
I stand up onto my feet
I slowly begin to walk
I am going home
I will not think about you again
For you are gone, you’re dead,
And that’s the end

I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is. Albert Camus
