Above Water
The light has never been so dark
It seems doubt has left its mark
For my heart is so heavy
Its weighing me down
The air is so thick
Im afraid i might drown
In the eyes of my peers im all but a stain
Self doubt just consumes me
For that is my bane
It looks like im laughing
But im really in pain
Because inside theres a darkness
And its dressed up like me
It puts on a show
So youll leave it be
I cry out for help but my words are lost in the struggle
From the pit inside me that i must juggle
With you
