Moonshine
Moonshine is
A silly thing
That casts
Light
On the impossible
And, in that
Iridescent glow
There is no space
For darkness.
When things
That are
Not true
Are spoken,
A beam of
Light
Breaks through,
For moonshine
Cannot
Hide ‘hind clouds,
It must find a way
To be seen
Or heard.
Silently,
As day comes on,
Its outline
Disappears.
Only to come
Back again
Another cloudless night.
