Shackled Down By Belief,
I am the prisoner,
My mind is the jail cell in which I can not escape,
My thoughts are the shackles in which I cannot break,
My mind says I will never achieve,
But my heart wants to try,
Oh please free me from these wretched thoughts,
I can't bear the thought of the shackles that wouldn't let me go so far,
I yell for help but no one can hear me through the cell doors,
I throw away the key and forced myself to believe that,
Thoughts are like mazes you can't escape,
Thoughts of self hatred,
Thoughts of hatred by all,
Thoughts of regret,
Thoughts of fear,
Thoughts of failure,
Thoughts of embarrassment,
Thoughts of being alone,
Thoughts of never achieving the only thing that keeps you thriving,
Thoughts consume my mind, and I am lost in them,
I can not escape this wretched place,
I have locked myself in this cell,
And forced myself to believe,
That I am the prisoner of my belief,
And can't escape this jail,
I know I must escape this wretched place,
But it is the only place I feel comfortable to be myself,
But yet I hate myself,
The only way to escape is don't believe,
No matter how you are perceived,
You must believe that you aren't what You think you are,
Your mind convinced that there's a limit,
Your heart has no limits to what it can love,
You're only limited to what you limit yourself,
Your mind is wretched but yet divine.
