Fall Breeze
I gaze into the shady sky
and the chills of the breeze
create goose bumps
all over my body.
A raging tornado of leaves
blow through the yard,
as they fall from the trees.
The wind blows my hair
across my face and
I get a strong smell of
the damp leaves and the
tree bark.
Robins fly from branch to branch,
singing a beautiful song
that fills my ears.
Little pieces of sticks
find their way to the ground
through the tangled tree branches,
as the wind gets stronger.
The shady grey in the sky
starts to become darker
and the afternoon light
begins to fade away.
