Letter from Heaven
Dearest Child,
I want you to know
everyone misses you
including me.
But just because you’re away
doesn’t mean you can neglect responsibilities.
Take a shower everyday
and remember to scrub behind your ears.
Eat all of your vegetables
and clean your room every week.
Make sure you brush your teeth every night
and don’t forget to say your prayers.
P.S. Tell Grandma I said “Hi”.
Dearest Mother,
You taught me how to walk and talk.
You taught me to look both ways before I crossed the street.
You taught me that it is good to share
and to never talk to strangers.
You taught me that there is no other love like
the one of a mother to her child.
You have always watched over me,
Now it’s time for me to watch over you.
P.S. Grandma says “Hello”.
