Dreaming of the Day
I sit around here dreaming of the day,
The day that my name instils fear.
With my own place to stay,
This day becomes near.
I doodle in class,
Skylar “The Tiger” I’d be named,
Holding the world title, made of brass,
In my mansion with the photo framed.
I’m not the type that enjoys hitting another,
But it is my dream job,
I’d do it for my mother,
No longer would I be a mooch, or a slob.
When that day does come,
After all it’s what my parents deserve.
I still will dream, just some,
After all that dream is one to preserve.
