The Battle for Verdun, France
The whistle of bombs falling

The general shouting and calling
Then a house explodes
Leaving the first floor walling

A weird tank comes into sight
My body wanting to run, but I stay and fight
The general calls out "let'em have it boys"
So we fire but the bullets bounce off like toys

Then our tank takes aim
Making the others seem very lame

So our tank fires and starts to reload
But the enemy keeps moving, which is not very bold

Then I hear the engine of a plane
I think the enemy aircraft has finally came
But when I look up they are shooting not at us
Instead they are setting the enemy armor up in flames

I hear their general calling for retreat
We celebrate our win for we will not be beat
The general comes out and gives us a treat
