Spring (Cleaning) Again MAG

I am sick of cleaning

listlessly pushing
an ineffectual rag
to rearrange the dust particles
that throng on the shelves,

while at the same time

dragging thoughts behind me
like anchors,
always following the same
well-worn synapses,
as my feet dent a path
in the carpet,
only to have it
vacuumed away.

It's spring again,
and I have no time
to dance in the rain.

I love this! It's incredably relatable, a really interesting piece of poetry. I especially like the last verse, so true! :) Awesome job
