Midnight Madness
big bright blue moon
hang high above the night sky
with sea of stars sailing South
others drown into the ground
casting soulful shadows
forming shades of silhouette
across the rustling leaves of trees
dotted dew drops sliding
among the blades of grass
glimmer like gold
once in a while
a blithe breeze blows
brewing the aroma of
the brown beautiful Earth
there is a queue of quietness
until an insect chirp
the owl hoot
and a quick kick of a rabbit
not far away
is a little lake
surface shines like a silver bay
wind making swirly ripples
that hypnotized my sleepy eyes
oh! How unfortunate
for the humans to sleep at night
missing a dreamlike delight.
