Carla
We live in a society
where we all have hollow eyes
that light up only
as a model walks by
life like a two dimensional figure
statistics and animal instincts
overruling all other emotion
we are simple
a hive
flocking around the few truly spectacular people that exist
only to realise they are nothing
but cardboard cutouts
souless just like our eyes
and the really spectacular
dont exist where we see them
we are blind mice following our noses
and walking straight into the glue
thatll hold us firm
and starve us to death
while the seeing among us
only see our struggle
and can only help us with little squeaks and nudges
music and glorious art
and humor
but we march on
blind to out senses
and tumble into three days to oblivion
