The Truth About Love
People say that Love is Blind
At first I was filled with extreme doubts
But then I met a one-of-a-kind
The butterflies in my stomach
Flew up to the clouds
But eventually
It began to rain
Butterflies faded
Clouds collided
I assumed things would work out if I waited
But it was not worth it
To fake it
It finally sank in that Love is truly Blind
You lose sight of the warnings
The signs
And when it is over, your world may shine
Because you will finally realize
The truth to this abstract metaphor
And to this, Love is Blind
