Who Is That Girl
Who is that girl?
The one in the mirror
With empty blue eyes
And a cold, dark smile?
Surely, that can't be me?
Face pale and drawn
And shadows under the eyes
Like sleep has been absent for quite a while.
Who is that girl?
The one in the window's reflection
With dull, red hair
And emotions that don't persist?
That can't be me.
Eyes hollow and shallow
And expression a mask
Like emotions don't exist.
Who is that girl?
The one that looks like me
With sickly, pale skin
And a long, skinny body?
Is that me?
That girl in the mirror?
It isn't me at all.
Is it?
