Like A Blue Supernova
Blue supernova,
Faint, like something you can’t quite remember.
Beautiful, like the last streak of light in the cold, dark air.
Lost so deep, so far,
In the folds of nothing and everything.
Air and light and stone,
It plays the death hymn of a dying star out through the empty.
Strong, like the fire that engulfs all life.
Lonely, like the silence that we never hear.
Blue, like the tears that fall in the night.
