How can you move forward if you keep regretting the past?

Having a lot to say
But not saying anything at all
Just one of those days when being alone feels great
Thinking of being scared to think
Feeling so much that you are on the brink
So much in mind that would seem clearer in sight
A caged butterfly, a heart made of steel
Feelings of hurt, broken trust with no way leave
Seeking relieve but only going back to the beginning
Fear of the unknown being worried about tomorrow
Listening to the silence but silence becoming noise
The need to hold on, the fear to let go
A war of 300, a soul being hunted
Crushed hopes and chattered dreams
So many scars but the one that never healed
Having nothing to loose
But why am I still confused

"heaven's not a place that you go when you die. it's that feeling in time when you feel alive."

Just the type of poem I was looking for! You took the words straight from my mouth! Love it. I really like your contradictions throughout the whole poem! I think it's very relatable to not just me, but a lot of teens and even grown people throughout the globe. It's a simple poem with a lot of meaning behind it and that's exactly what I was searching for.
