She walks through valleys of Demons and shadows,
They say that they won't hurt her, but she fears the unknown,
And she knows that when the wind blows,
She will feel the chill that leaves her to die alone.
They say if she walks far enough,
She will see the light again,
She knows their lies, she calls their bluff,
They think nothing of it; they go home and say 'Amen'.
Oh, they believe they are pure and chaste,
But she can see past their disguises,
She sees their greed and how they lie and cheat to have their sins erased,
But those who walk with the shadows must keep their secrets through the ages.
