She's the kind of girl
She’s the kind of girl,
who does not know how to apply make up on her face
but loves to apply her thoughts on papers.
She does not know how to blend in eye shadows
but likes to blend in metaphor and personification.
A girl who embellished her words
and not her face.
She’s the kind of girl,
who does not care in the measurement of her waistline
but is conscious of the measure of lines in her poems.
When she hears the word pound,
she does not think about weight
but reminded of Ezra Pound.
A girl who starved her mind
and not her stomach
She’s the kind of girl,
whom you will never see at 3am in bars drinking vodka
but she’s also awake at 3am clutching a book, drinking coffee.
Say she’s boring and anti-social
for you do not know, in every turn of a page
she have met all kinds of human being there is
and visited hundreds of different places.
A girl who likes to smell books
but will never be smelled like liquor.
