False whispers of enthusiasm
Seep brazenly off your tongue
From a mouth who's smile
Is nether kind nor cruel

Eyes the color of stormy sea
That betrayed emotion in
Gentle rolling waves, now
Sit quiet and motionless

A heart that seems like
It holds nothing dear and
Mearly floats through life,
Screams inside of it's cage
