Green is the season of spring
Green is the leaves of newly budding trees
The world waking up from its dark and gloomy sleep
A celebration of birth fit for a king

Green is a Golden Age
Green is a time of unspoken ecstasy
Dark times are far from the horizon
Emerald fields of farmland
Catching the long-awaited rays of golden sunlight
Animals, plants, and people in tranquility

A renaissance
A rebirth
A reawakening

Green is not the misconceived horror of jealousy
Green is what we all strive to be
Joyful
Hopeful
Blissful
Green

This is the 2nd piece in a collection of poems that was inspired by the question "How do you describe something (E.x.-colors) that is detected by a certain sense (sight) to someone who does not posses that sense (a blind person)?
