An Infinity with You
I wish that I could capture that moment.
That moment when everything,
Just for a second,
Was amazingly perfect.
When everything was alright.
When all the hurts and pains of my past that haunt my present just melted away.
When what the unknown things the future holds suddenly didn't matter anymore.
I long to capture the exact moment,
With all the smiles,
The laughter,
The butterflies in the pit of our stomachs.
That moment,
For the first time in a long time,
We were truly happy.
That moment when the first atom of love appeared.
I'd like to live in that moment forever.
I'd love to live in that little infinity you gave me within just a fraction of a second.
I don't care that we could have had a bigger infinity with just a few more second,
A few more minutes,
A few more hours,
A few more days;
A few more weeks.
It was in that moment where I found it doesn't matter if I'm not perfect,
Where is doesn't matter if I'm not always a good person,
Where it doesn't matter if I'm not anyone or anything,
Where it doesn't matter if I think I matter or not,
Or if anyone even realizes I exist
Because you thought I was,
You thought I did,
And you know I do.
I want to capture that moment and live there for an eternity
Because there all that really matters is that
I'm there with you and for you
And you're there with me and for me, too.
