H.E.A.L.I.N.G.
The pain is practically unbearable,
Yet my heart continue beating.
But it’s bleeding out so swiftly,
The life in me is fleeting.
Is your heart bleeding too?
Are you feeling as much pain?
Does that monster pierce your heart,
Reminding you we’ll never kiss again?
The hurt is absolutely agonizing,
I never wanted you gone.
But couldn’t hear “I love you” again,
Now knowing it was wrong.
I miss your embrace; I miss your smile,
I miss each ‘good morning’ greeting,
But though the ache is killing me,
I know my heart will continue beating.
